Mark A. Thompson, President

Mark has been in the Oil and Gas business his entire life. He began working for his father and uncle as a teenager. In the 1970's he was a Landman and started his own company, MATCO. He expanded the business to include well drilling and brine hauling and later sold that company to form MAT Oil and Gas which drilled hundreds of wells in Pennsylvania. In 1992, MAT Oil and Gas was dissolved and Mark purchased 100% of the Mid-East Oil Company stock from the estate of Chuck Griffith, a former Pittsburgh businessman. Since that time, Mid-East Oil Company has continued to expand and has currently drilled over 400 wells along with constructing thousands of miles of pipeline systems.

Bradley Brothers, Secretary/Treasurer

Brad came to Mid-East Oil Company after working for S. W. Jack Drilling Company, which at the time was the largest Drilling Contractor east of the Mississippi River. As Controller at Mid- East Oil with a B. S. degree in Accounting from Penn State and 15 plus years experience in financial management of Oil and Gas Companies, he plays a crucial role in performing, supervising, analyzing and presenting all accounting and financial data.

Mike Schwemmer, Administrator

Debra L. Rearick Hodak, Administrative Assistant

Debbie comes to Mid-East with many years of business and accounting experience. Debbie's experience in gas-well production and daily field production reporting helps Mid-East keep up with the many reports we give to our investors on a monthly basis.

Lastly, we have Mid-East Oil Company's mascots...Gus, Stanley and Chiquita who not only think they are human and eat better than we do but they guard the premises with ferociousness. Oh, and Stanley plays a mean game of ducky!
