Geology
Depth of Targeted Pay Sands – 650 to 2,100 feet

The well logs from a recent drilling program suggest as many as 7 pay sands at various depths as deep as 2,100 feet. The Lewis Run sand is the deepest target at 2,100 feet and is the thickest in the northeast section of the lease. The other pay sands include the Bradford 2 shallow Venango Sand at only 700 feet. On average we expect to continue to encounter more than 40 feet of pay sand across the property.

Estimates of Porosity and Permeability

Porosity on this property has tested higher than 24%. We believe that the field averages between 15 and 20% across the property. It has demonstrated strong indications that hydraulic fracturing will be beneficial to the production of 2 recently completed lateral wells. Additionally, modern open hole [“frac”] hydraulic fracturing jobs have shown good success improving permeability production in the field.
